

SUGAR GROVE, Ill. - A record-setting day helped the Ashford University men's cross country team place third at the Waubonsee Chiefs Invitational on Saturday, as sophomore Mizael Carerra of Northlake, Ill., and freshman Brian Meyer of Bloomington, Ill., earned their spot in the record books.

PALATINE, Ill. - A shortened course, tough terrain and competing with a smaller roster couldn't hinder the Ashford University men's cross country team from succeeding in the first meet of 2010, as the Saints took home second place honors at the Seventh Annual Harper Hawks Invitational on Saturday.

CLINTON, Iowa - The casual observer might view the Ashford University's men's cross country roster as having a handful of youthful runners and conclude that the team is in for a season of growing pains.
However, it's the experience those newcomers and the core of returning student-athletes that have Head Coach Tyson Graham's sights set on a Midwest Collegiate Conference championship.



CLINTON, Iowa - Fresh off of releasing their schedule for 2010, the Ashford University men's cross country program picked up another recruit for next season earlier this week, gaining the commitment of junior college transfer Doug Powers of Greenup, Ill.
