

LA CROSSE, Wis. - The Ashford University women's bowling team has put together some impressive finishes so far throughout the 2011-12 season, and this past weekend was no exception.

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - A week removed from their second consecutive top ten team finish, the Ashford University women's bowling team was back in action this past weekend, Jan. 21-22, by competing in the Blue and Golf Classic hosted by the University of Notre Dame at Chippewa Bowl. The Saints placed three individuals in the top-50 en route to a 12th place finish out of the 41 varsity teams involved in the event.


MILAN, Ill. - In its second year of existence, the Ashford University women's bowling team is progressing toward national contention very quickly.
Ashford, along with 23 other varsity bowling teams from around the Midwest, visited Milan Lanes in Milan, Ill. last Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 3-4, as the teams competed in the 11th Annual ISYL Leatherneck Classic. After sitting in tenth place following Saturday's portion of the event, the Saints rallied by posting the fifth-best score during Sunday's session of 16 baker games to place them eighth overall with a total pinfall of 8139.

FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, Ill. - The Ashford University women's bowling team returned to the lanes this past weekend, Nov. 12-13, as it visited St. Clair Bowl to compete in the S.I. Elite Classic hosted by McKendree University. The Saints placed fourth out of the eight varsity teams competing in their only scheduled outing of November.
The classic consisted of nine team games which were played over a two-day span.
