CLINTON, Iowa - The Ashford University athletic department filled another void on the staff as it announced the official hiring of Texan Kevin Jannusch as softball head coach effective immediately. Jannusch takes over the program following the tendered resignation of Kyle Yore earlier this year.

DECATUR, Ala. - Among 275 student-athletes recognized nationwide, Ashford University softball seniors Alisha Parker of Camanche, Whitney Bauer of DeWitt and Kimberly Samples of Bolingbrook, Ill., each received status as NAIA-Daktronics Scholar-Athletes announced earlier today.

MT. PLEASANT, Iowa - Following a breakout senior year, Ashford University's Jessie Rosenow of Erie, Ill., was recognized by the Midwest Collegiate Conference and its coaches as all-conference honors were unveiled earlier this morning.

OSKALOOSA, Iowa - The Ashford University softball team closed out the 2010 season over the weekend at the Midwest Collegiate Conference Tournament, defeating St. Ambrose University in the opener before falling to William Penn University and again in the rematch with St. Ambrose.
