CLINTON, Iowa - Coming off the best season in the program's history, the Ashford University baseball squad began to reload on talent for the upcoming spring, landing key commitments from infielder R.J. Roberts of Rockford, Ill., and projected starting left-handed pitcher Ian Hamilton of West Liberty.

LEWISTON, Idaho - Ashford University junior pitcher Tim Elias of Grayslake, Ill., was honored as a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete for his efforts in the classroom as announced late yesterday afternoon by the organization.

PEOSTA, Iowa - Cory Billinger smacked a two-run homer in the first inning, A.J. Krist added his league-leading ninth blast and No. 2 seed Grand View University ended the fifth-seeded Ashford University baseball team's upstart run through the Midwest Collegiate Conference Tournament on Thursday, 6-4.
