CLINTON, Iowa - The Ashford men's tennis team will have to wait an additional week to open the spring portion of the 2012 schedule.

Head Coach Chad Fenwick announced on Tuesday that the season opening duel against the Warriors of Midland University, scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 4, has been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Men's Tennis closed out the fall season over the weekend by competing in the ITA Regional Tournament hosted by McKendree University in St. Louis, Mo. The Saints competed well and crowned a champion on the consolation side of the men's singles "A" bracket while running into tough competition during the doubles portion of the tournament.

CLINTON, Iowa - As the Ashford University men's tennis squad prepares to begin their fall season, there is reason for excitement surrounding the young Saints' program.

Entering the programs' second season, the Saints will continue to build a program under second-year head coach Chad Fenwick. The team performed well last year in the inaugural season for Ashford, finishing 13-6 on the season and that gives Fenwick a reason to be optimistic heading into the fall season.
