VERNON HILLS, Ill. – The 2013-14 season came to an end for the Ashford University bowling teams at the NAIA Invitational Team Championships at Hawthorn Bowl on Friday and Satruday, Mar. 28-29.

The event featured 20 teams on both sides, with Friday's qualifying round determining the seeds for the double-elimination round on Saturday. The Ashford men finished earned the #10-seed on Friday while the women earned the 16th seed heading into the elimination round.

ADDISON, Ill. - The Ashford University men's and women's bowling teams headed to Stardust Bowl for the second time this season, this time for the 2014 XBowling Intercollegiate Team Championship Sectional Qualifier on Saturday and Sunday, Mar. 15-16.

The Ashford men finished one spot shy of qualifying for nationals after 64 baker style games, collecting 12,244 pins to earn a fifth place finish, 89 pins behind fourth-place Clarke University for the final spot at the Intercollegiate Team Championships in Reno, Nev.

ARLINGTON, Texas – On Wednesday evening, the Ashford University men's and women's bowling teams learned where their seasons would continue, as the sectional qualifying assignments were announced for the 2014 XBowling Intercollegiate Team Championships.

Both squads have landed in the Addison Sectional, which will take place on Saturday and Sunday, Mar. 15-16, in Addison, Ill. at Stardust Bowl. The women finished 15th overall in total power points while the men finished 28th in the standings.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Ashford University men's and women's bowling teams completed regular season play over the weekend, taking part in the Backhaul Direct Hoosier Classic on Feb. 15-16. The two-day event featured nine team game with the top eight teams advancing to the tournament's elimination round.

Both squads performed well against the largest tournament field of the year. The Ashford women finished 12th overall in the 65-team field, while the men finished 17th out of 78 teams.
