MADISON, Wis. – The Ashford University men's and women's bowling teams returned to action on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 7-8, when they competed in the Warhawk Open, hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. The tournament consisted of six team games and four baker style games with the top eight teams advancing to bracket play.
WAUWATOSA, Wis. – The Ashford University bowling teams began the 2013-14 season on Oct. 5-6, when they took to the lanes for the 2013 Midwest Collegiate Tournament at AMF Bowlero. The tournament consisted of nine team games and 12 baker games.
The Ashford men opened the year with a 14th place finish in the 42 team field, collecting a total of 11,129 pins. Meanwhile, the AU women placed 22nd out of 30 teams, mowing down a total of 9,368 pins.
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The 2013 bowling season came to an end over the weekend, Friday-Sunday, Mar. 22-24, for the Ashford University bowling squads as the teams competed in the 2013 NAIA Invitational, presented by the Kegel Training Center at Woodland Bowl in Indianapolis.
FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, Ill. – Nearing the end of the 2012-13 season, the Ashford University bowling teams transitioned from the regular season portion of their schedule to the championship stages last weekend, Mar. 9-10, when the Saints competed in the 2013 xbowling Intercollegiate Team Sectional Championships.
ARLINGTON, Texas – The Ashford University men's and women's bowling teams found out Wednesday morning that their seasons will continue as the sectional qualifying assignments were announced for the 2013 xbowling Intercollegiate Team Championships.
Both Ashford squads have landed in the Fairview Heights Sectional, which will be contested on Saturday and Sunday, March 9-10, in Fairview Heights, Ill. at St. Clair Bowl.
