INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The regular season came to an end for the Ashford bowling teams this past weekend at the 2015 Hoosier Classic, presented by Columbia 300.
Playing in one of the largest tier-one tournaments of the year, the event consisted of nine individual games with the team score added together at the end. The top eight pin totals on the women's side advanced to the bracket round while the 12 highest pin totals moved on to the knockout round for the men.
DUBUQUE, Iowa – The Ashford men's and women's bowling teams brought home some hardware for the second consecutive event, winning the bracket rounds of the Crusader Open on Sunday (Feb. 8).
The event consisted of six individual games on Saturday with 16 baker style games played on Sunday. At the end of the baker round, the top six teams were awarded spots in the knockout round with the top two seeds earning byes to the semifinals.
LaCROSSE, Wis. – The Ashford bowling teams will be bringing some hardware home with them following a pair of wins at the V-Hawk Open, hosted by Viterbo University at Pia-Mor Lanes.
The event consisted of traditional individual games on Saturday with baker-style games played on Sunday. The top two teams would then advance to a best-of-five head-to-head format to decide the tournament champion.
