SAN DIEGO, Calif. – The 2013 season came to an end for the Ashford men's and women's cross country teams on Saturday (Nov.9), when they competed in the 2013 Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) Championships.

The Ashford men finished in third place with 100 points, while the women closed out the year with 130 points and a sixth place finish.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Ashford University cross country teams wrapped up the regular season portion of their schedule on Saturday (Oct. 26), competing in the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge, hosted by Aquinas College (Mich.).

The AU women finished 27th overall in the 5K race, while the men recorded a 32nd place finish in the 8K race.

DAVENPORT, Iowa – On Saturday, Oct. 12, the Ashford University cross country teams took part in the St. Ambrose Fighting Bee Invitational held at Crow Creek Park.

The Ashford men recorded 194 points to finish in seventh place, while the AU women finished eighth overall with 209 points.

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – For the first time in three weeks, the Ashford University cross country teams were back on the course again, taking part in the Augustana College Brissman-Lundeen Invitational on Friday, Sept. 27.

Competing against fields that featured over 400 runners each, the AU women finished 27th overall, while the men finished in 31st place.
