

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – An Ashford University senior golfer has landed among the nation's elite.
The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released its 2013 Men's Golf All-American teams, as selected by the NAIA-Men's Golf Coaches Association All-America Committee, on Monday afternoon. Sabah, Malaysia-native Chien Hau Tan was awarded Second Team All-American status by the committee and joins 44 other student-athletes from around the nation on the prestigious award list.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – A pair of Ashford University men's golfers landed among the list of 111 golfers from around the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) as the 2013 class of men's golf Daktronics Scholar-Athletes was announced on Thursday.
Seniors Ross Milne and Trent Specht collected the honor, the first members of the AU men's golf program to land on the list since the 2008-09 season.

DESTIN, Fla. – Four members of the Ashford University men's golf team have been honored by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).
Seniors Chien Hau Tan, Dan Balgooyen and Trent Specht joined freshman Joar Bjelkholm as members of the NAIA PING All-West Region Team, the announcement was made Tuesday afternoon.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Ashford University men's golf team held steady as the #23-ranked team in the final NAIA Men's Golf Coaches' Top 25 poll of the regular season. The rankings were released Thursday afternoon.
Ashford wrapped up its season on Monday & Tuesday, Apr. 29-30, when the team took third place at the 2013 Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) Men's Golf Championships. The Saints posted a three-round team total of 892 (303-289-300), to finish behind the tournament champions, #3-ranked California State University-San Marcos, and #12-ranked University of British Columbia.

VICTORIA, Texas – After sitting in third place after a rain-shortened day one of the Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) Championships, the Ashford men's golf team took to the links on a hot and humid day for second and third round action.
The #23-ranked Saints would finish in that same spot with a final score of 892 (303-289-300), coming in behind a pair of top-15 teams in #3-ranked California State-San Marcos and #13-ranked British Columbia.
