DENVER, Colo. – After cruising through pool play, the Ashford University volleyball team turned their attention to the bracket round of the 2014 Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) Championship.

The Saints would pick up a three-set win over third-ranked Rochester College (Mich.) in a matchup of the second and third seeds, sending the Saints to the conference championship game against top-seeded Cal State San Marcos.

CLINTON – The 2014 regular season came to an end for the Ashford University volleyball team on Monday (Nov. 3) night when the Saints hosted the #12-ranked V-Hawks of Viterbo University.

In their third matchup of the season against the V-Hawks, Ashford couldn't overcome a slow start, falling in four sets (25-17, 25-19, 16-25, 25-14) to close the regular season with a 25-13 record. Viterbo improves to 32-7 with the win, taking two out of three matches from AU in 2014.
