CLINTON – The Ashford volleyball team put the finishing touches on a successful 2014 season recently with the team's post-season banquet.

The Saints finished the year with a 28-14 record, matching the program record for wins in a season. For the second straight season, the Saints advanced to the championship game of the A.I.I. Tournament, but came up short against top-seeded Cal State San Marcos in their bid to win the tournament and earn an automatic berth to nationals.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – A pair of Ashford University volleyball players were selected as Daktronics Scholar-Athletes by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) on Friday (Dec. 5) morning.

DENVER, Colo. – After cruising through pool play, the Ashford University volleyball team turned their attention to the bracket round of the 2014 Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) Championship.

The Saints would pick up a three-set win over third-ranked Rochester College (Mich.) in a matchup of the second and third seeds, sending the Saints to the conference championship game against top-seeded Cal State San Marcos.
