ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - The Ashford University men's indoor track and field team won its second meet championship of the season Thursday night, Feb. 16, as the squad competed in a triangular meet against Midwest Collegiate Conference-foe St. Ambrose and NCAA Division III-opponent Augustana College. The Saints locked up a pair of NAIA Track and Field Championships qualifiers and accumulated 56 points in the winning effort.

STERLING, Ill. - The Ashford University men's indoor track and field team spent Saturday afternoon (Feb. 11) hosting the 2012 Midwest Collegiate Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships inside the Westwood Fitness & Sports Complex. The Saints battled through a tough day of events, but in the end fell just short to take second place in the eight-team field.

MOUNT PLEASANT, Iowa - The Midwest Collegiate Conference handed out its weekly awards Monday afternoon and one Ashford University men's track and field student-athlete landed among the six recognized by the league. Senior Austin Smith, a Port Byron, Ill.-native, was named the league's Men's Track and Field Indoor Field Athlete of the Week after his high jump performance over the weekend.
