CLINTON – Second year head coach Robert Jan is pleased to announce the signing of five players that will join the Ashford University golf program for the upcoming season.
Clinton's own Josh Bousman joins George Long (Bournemouth, England) and David Krueger (Mundelein, Ill.) as the three newest members of the AU men's team while Andrea Strohmaier (Genoa, Ill.) and Carlie Olson (Aledo, Ill.) will tee it up for the Ashford women starting this fall.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the list of 114 men's golfers that were named as Daktronics Scholar-Athletes. For the second consecutive year, the Saints placed a member on the list of the top student-athletes from around the nation.
CLINTON – Junior men's golfer Ryan Hilton was honored for his work on the course and in the classroom on Thursday afternoon this past year with a nomination to the Capitol One Academic All-District® First Team At-Large All-District 3 by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
BREMERTON, Wash. – The 2014 season came to an end for the Ashford University men's and women's golf teams on Monday (Apr. 28) as both teams teed it up on day two of the 2014 Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) Championships at Gold Mountain Golf Club.
The Ashford men wrapped up the three round event with a 914 and a fifth place finish. The AU women also grabbed fifth place after firing a 686 in the two round tournament.
BREMERTON, Wash. – The Ashford University men's and women's golf teams teed it up at Gold Mountain Golf Course on Sunday, Apr. 27, for day one of the 2014 Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) Championships.
At the end of the day, both teams find themselves in fifth place overall. The Ashford men recorded a 36-hole score of 611. Meanwhile, the AU women carded an 18-hole score of 342.
