CLINTON – With the first pitch of the 2015 season drawing closer, optimism is high for the Ashford University baseball team as they aim to bounce back from a disappointing 2014 campaign.

In order to improve on a 13-27-1 record, ninth-year Saints head coach John Govek knew his team had to turn the page as soon as practice started in the fall. The players responded with a solid fall and have carried that momentum over to indoor practices early this spring.
