KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Two Ashford University women's cross country runners have received Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors. 

Plainfield, Ill.-native Annie Chezem and Kingston, Ill.'s Haley Fischer are two of 317 student-athletes from around the nation to be named on the yearly award list.

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – The Ashford University cross country teams saw their seasons come to an end on Saturday at the Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) Cross Country Championships which were hosted by California State University-San Marcos.  AU's men took third, while the women came in fourth.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Ashford cross country teams were back on the course on Saturday, Oct. 20, competing in their final event of the regular season, the Aquinas NAIA Great Lakes Challenge.  Facing off against the largest fields of the year to date, the women's team placed 21st and the men finished in 28th.

DAVENPORT, Iowa – Following a two-week break, the Ashford cross country teams took part in the St. Ambrose Fighting Bee Invitational on Saturday. The women's squad raced to a sixth place finish, scoring 163 points while the men took eighth with 202 points.

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – The Ashford cross country teams were back in action on Friday night, competing in the Brissman/Lundeen Cross Country Invitational, hosted by Augustana College.  Competing in a pair of races that featured over 850 runners, the Saints' women's squad finished in 19th place, while the men took 28th place overall.
