WATERLOO, Iowa – On Saturday (Apr. 5) afternoon, the Ashford University women's tennis team hit the court for the first time in two weeks, traveling to Black Hawk Tennis Center for a showdown with the Peacocks of Upper Iowa University.

The Peacocks would snap the Saints' three-meet winning streak, edging out Ashford with a 5-4 win.

CLINTON – The Ashford University women's tennis team made it three wins in a row after picking up a 9-0 win over Judson University (Ill.) on Friday before downing Robert Morris (Ill.), 7-2, on Saturday afternoon.

Friday night against the Eagles, the Saints opened the match by controlling the court in doubles play, sweeping the Eagles and taking the first three points. The #2 doubles team of Jalyn Deering and Adriana Obando earned an 8-1 win, the most convincing of the three.

SKILLMAN, N.J. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released the second NAIA rankings for the 2013-14 season with the Ashford men's and women's teams occupying three spots in the Central Region rankings.

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Ashford University tennis teams each got back in the win column on Saturday (Mar. 15) afternoon, downing the Spartans of Missouri Baptist University.

The AU women snapped a three-meet slide and improved to 4-3 in the spring with a 9-0 blanking. Meanwhile, the Ashford men ended a two-meet losing streak and moved to 4-2 with a 6-3 victory.

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Ashford University women's tennis team traveled south on Friday afternoon for a showdown with NCAA Division II member, Maryville University of St. Louis.

The host Saints would prove to be too powerful for Ashford, defending their home court with a 5-2 win.
