Prior to Ashford: Competed in soccer, swimming, track and field and cross country for all four years while at Rock Island High School…Competed in the 1500-meter freestyle, backstroke and various relay teams in the pool…Played the forward and defender positions on the soccer team…Four-time All-Academic Conference Team honoree…Member of the German Club, Letterman's Club and was an active participant in 4-H…Also pole vaulted in high school…Coached by Ed Lillis and David Terronez.
