Prior to Ashford: Three-year member of the volleyball
and track and field teams while at Erie High School…Missed her junior season
due to a shoulder injury…Illinois state qualifier in the shot put as a senior,
winning sectionals with a throw of 36 feet…Member of the conference and
regional champion volleyball squad during senior campaign…Recorded personal
record of 36'6" during sophomore season and was a two-time Most Valuable Player
in volleyball…Set the school record as a freshman in shot put and was named the
Most Improved Hitter in volleyball.
