(Freshman): Underwent hip surgery prior to her sophomore
season…Helped set the indoor and outdoor school records in the 4x400 and
4x200-meter relays, respectively, in her freshman year…Also holds the school
record as a member of the record-breaking 4x100-meter relay team for the
outdoor season.
Prior to
Ashford: Member of the volleyball, basketball and track and field teams while
lettering all four years during her career at Camanche High School…Four-time
academic all-conference selection…Became a state qualifier in the discus,
sprint medley relay and 4x200-meter relay (4th) in senior campaign...Qualified
for state as a junior as a member of the 4x400-meter relay team and in the
sprint medley relay…Qualified for the Drake Relays in her senior year as a
member of the 4x100-meter relay unit…Coached by Brenda Metzger.
