- Outdoor All-MCC - Pole Vault (2011)
2011 Outdoor (Freshman): Was the MCC Champion in pole vault (3.80 meters)…took third at the Southern Miss Invitational (3.66 meters) in pole vault…also placed fourth in vaulting at the Benedictine Eagle Invitational (3.65 meters).
2011 Indoor (Freshman): Vaulted his way to a pair of great finishes in his first season at Ashford…took second in the MCC Indoor Track and Field Championships with a vault of 3.65 meters…earned third place points at the Jack Jennett Invitational with his best outing of the season (3.80 meters).
Prior to Ashford: Three-sport standout at Genoa-Kingston High School in Genoa, Ill…Qualified for the Illinois state meet in the pole vault during his junior season…Also played football and wrestled…Coached by Phil Jerbi and Bill McCarty.
Personal: Born Matthew Allen Holley on Aug. 27, 1992…Son of Allen and Chris Holley…Has one younger brother, Marcus…Enjoys making movies, games and weightlifting…Chose Ashford over Concordia University and Devry University.
