Year two of his reign saw the program expand to include a full women's squad which went 9-6 in dual competition during the 2011-12 season.  The men continued to succeed, even with a very youthful team, posting a 9-8-1 record overall in year two of existence which included an undefeated month of February.  In addition, Fenwick continue to work the international circuit to assemble diverse and talented rosters for the immediate future.

Both teams received Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic recognition this past season, while six individuals received ITA All-Academic accolades.

Fenwick also serves as the director of operations for the men's and women's tennis program, including overseeing the Ashford Indoor Community Tennis Center, previously owned by the local YMCA.

Under Fenwick's tutelage at Upper Iowa, regional singles champion Anastasia Dabiza of Skokie, Ill., went on to collect Northern Sun Conference Freshman of the Year accolades this past spring.

Fenwick enjoyed a two-year tennis collegiate career at then-Mount St. Clare College before transferring to the University of Dubuque for the remainder of his eligibility. He was the No. 1 player for the Mounties during his freshman year in 1994-95.
