BENSENVILLE, Ill. - Freshman forward Florence Dodson of Ghana had a hand in all three goals for Robert Morris University as it dropped the Ashford University women's soccer team on Saturday by a 3-1 decision.

The Saints (1-3 overall) were unable to get their offense tracked against the Eagles (2-1 overall), who received votes in the NAIA Top-25 Coaches Preseason Poll. Robert Morris had defeated AU in the Saints' season opener last year by a 4-0 score.

Sophomore midfielder Chelsea Fisher of Calgary, Alberta, scored her first goal of the year in the second half, blasting a penalty kick in the net at the 58:36 mark.

But the Saints struggled against the Eagles' defense, managing to get off nine total shots against Robert Morris' 29. Senior goalkeeper Kylie Willet of East Moline, Ill., made a season-high 11 saves.

RMU put the Saints in an early hole in the first half, riding a Dodson goal less than six minutes into the match at the 5:44 mark. It was Dodson's fourth score of the season after she followed her own shot on the rebound.

Linda Mathisen gave Robert Morris a two-goal edge in the 30th minute, following assists by Dodson and Samira Suleman.

Dodson then fueled a 2-on-1 breakaway and fed Suleman for the 3-0 advantage with four seconds before halftime.
