CLINTON, Iowa - The Ashford University men's golf and men's bowling programs added to their respective roster for next season, signing Glen Hostens of Moline, Ill., earlier this week.

Coached by Chris Dillis at Moline High School, Hostens was a member of the Maroons golf team that won their IHSA Regional tournament last fall.

Hostens was an outstanding student as well, being named an Illinois State Scholar during his senior while as also being a member of the National Honor Society.

Hostens was named to the Western Big 6 All-Academic team and was awarded the Illinois Prairie State Achievement Award this past season as well.

When not on the links, Hostens enjoys bowling, rolle bolle and playing pickup games of any type of sport.

The son of Glen and Michelle Hostens, Hostens is undecided on which field of study he will pursue when he comes to campus next fall. He chose Ashford over St. Ambrose University and Black Hawk College.
