MOLINE, Ill. - The remaining games of the Ashford University-hosted MCC Softball Challenge #2 have been called off due to heavy rainfall and unplayable field conditions at the Greenvalley Sports Complex.

The Saints were in the second inning of a contest against Viterbo University when a rain delay suspended play yesterday. That game will not count towards AU's record.

Ashford was previously scheduled to finish the V-Hawks this afternoon and close with another matchup against Mt. Mercy College. There will be no makeup date for any of the games.

The Saints continue their regular-season schedule on Wednesday, traveling to Mount Pleasant for a twinbill against Iowa Wesleyan College. The first game gets underway at 5 p.m.
