Men's and Women's Squads Head to Davenport For Season Opener

CLINTON, Iowa - Ashford University men's and women's cross country squads officially get their season going tomorrow at the Augustana Early Opener in Davenport. The Saints will be running against Augustana and St. Ambrose University.

"We've had a couple weeks of good practice and we're excited to see how that translates in a meet," AU Head Coach Tyson Graham said.

Graham's tentative lineup on the men's side includes Andrew Drinkall of Hooppole, Ill., Aleksander Jakobsen of Rock Island, Ill., Julius Oteng of Kumasi, Ghana, Rafael Crisosto of Franklin Park, Ill., and Ray Rivera of Franklin Park, Ill.

The women will be featuring Nichole Salazar of Minooka, Ill., Kemi Okwumabua of Rockford, Ill., Chhutani Berry of Chicago, Ashley Murray of Mason City and Olivia Canales of Sterling, Ill.
