GREENEVILLE, Tenn. - Ashford senior Brittany Boon had her season come to an end on Thursday, May 18, as third round play at the 2012 NAIA Women's Golf Championships was held at Link Hills Golf and Country Club.
Boon shot a 15-over par round of 88 to put her at +32 (80-83-88) for the event, missing the cut for the final round of play which is scheduled for Friday.
University of Victoria's Megan Woodland enters the final round holding a one-shot lead over Jessica Schlele from Oklahoma City University and Anna Arrese Cortadellas of Oklahoma Christian. The team leaderboard is topped for the second consecutive day by the University of British Columbia, who hold a one stroke advantage over Savannah College of Art & Design entering the final 18 holes.
