CLINTON, Iowa - The Ashford women's soccer team and Head Coach Mick Regan are proud to announce the signings of the first three members to the 2012 signing class.

Chamea Palmer, Sarah Schreck and Molly Frizzell will don the purple and gold for the 2012 season, looking to help improve an Ashford squad that racked up 11 wins in 2011.

Having already arrived on campus, Palmer joins the Saints after a pair of spectacular seasons at Iowa Western Community College, where she amassed 59 goals and 30 assists for the . Those eye-popping numbers earned Chamea back-to-back nominations to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I All-Region XI soccer squads.

While at Dixie High School in St. George, Utah, Palmer excelled on both the soccer field and the basketball court. She was a two-time All-State member in soccer and helped her team to a state championship her sophomore season. On the court, Palmer was a three-time team MVP.

Chamea is the daughter of Thane and Heidi Palmer and will major in social sciences at Ashford.

Schreck comes to Clinton after spending the last two seasons at Grand View University. In 2011, she helped lead the Vikings to a share of the regular season Midwest Collegiate Conference Championship, potting four goals and adding an assist in 19 games.

As a freshman, the Norwalk, Iowa-native tied for third on the Vikings' squad with seven points, three goals and one assist, on the season.

While at Norwalk High School, Schreck led her squad in goals and assists each of her four years, helping Norwalk to a pair of appearances in the Class 2A state tournament.

Sarah is the daughter of Darin and Jill Schreck and will major in Sports and Recreation Management at Ashford.

Frizzell comes to the Saints from north of the border in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, where she competed for the National Sport Academy Program while enrolled at Central Memorial. There, she was coached by Paul Schultz and Joe Long.

Molly is the daughter of Patti Frizzell and plans on majoring in Business at Ashford.
