MOUNT PLEASANT, Iowa - The Midwest Collegiate Conference announced its women's soccer all-conference teams Wednesday afternoon. Five of the 30 student-athletes which make up the squads are Ashford University Saints, including four First Team All-MCC honorees.

Midfielders Chelsea Fisher and Mackenzie Muller, junior goalkeeper Jerika Castillo and sophomore attacker Hollie Babut earned First Team All-MCC recognition. The four join four players from Grand View and St. Ambrose each to make up 12 of the 14 slots on the First Team.

Fisher earned her third consecutive First Team All-MCC honor after recording 11 goals and five assists this season. The attacking midfielder took the fourth-most shots per game (3.95) in the league this season while also posting the fourth-most points per game (1.42).

Sycamore, Ill.-native Mueller has landed on the First Team for the second consecutive season following her solid play in the AU midfield. Mueller played in 17 games while making 12 starts for the Saints this season.

Babut, a sophomore, led the squad with 15 goals and 35 points en route to her first all-conference selection. The Oshawa, Ontario, Canada-native tied for the second-most goals in the league this season and had game-winning markers on six occasions.

Junior goalkeeper Jerika Castillo was AU's defensive rock in net this season. The Iowa City, Iowa-native turned away 132 shots in 1749 minutes this season and was the MCC Defensive Player of the Week on two separate occasions. Castillo also kept eight clean sheets this season.

In addition, defender Brittany Paustian made her second consecutive appearance on the Honorable Mention All-MCC team. She scored a pair of goals while being instrumental on AU's defensive back line.

The Saints finished the regular season with a 10-5-2 record overall which included a 7-1 mark in MCC matches which earned the squad Co-MCC Regular Season Championship status.

Grand View junior forward Jordyn Thompson was named MCC Player of the Year after leading the league with 23 goals and 52 points.
